Well, it's a five day weekend and that means I might be able to squeeze out some more Half Life cards. I'm happy how that set is going right now because I still have cards I need to get around to posting. The only problem I have with it is it's a bit underpowered by today's standards. There is, after all, a fine balance between balancing and nerfing cards (eg. the terrible Pokemon Emerald set, if you're unlucky enough to remember it). With that in mind, there is a chance that I'll buff some of the cards and overwrite the old ones in order to give the set a bit more firepower. After all, I want it to be powerful enough to be able to win a duel but not so powerful that people wouldn't let me use it in the first place. Why? Because, when it's finished, I want to be able to duel my friends with it. I want to be able to have an entire duel with only fake cards and still have it fair. That's why I try to balance my cards' stats and not make their effects too, well, effective.
