PLEASE DO NOT DISREGARD THIS JOURNAL. RESPONSES FROM ANYONE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU. TURNING CAPS LOCK OFF NOW (LOL).

Ahem. You may be wondering, if I tried (pronounced "made a dismal attempt") to hype the TF2 set so much then why on earth haven't I released more than one card from it since I have most of the set finished? The answer, my friends+family+total strangers, is four fold. Firstly, I've been cramming for finals so I haven't had time to post any more. Secondly, there are about sixty more completed-ish cards to release. If I do release all of them, it will take some time. Thirdly, the set isn't really that great as far as MTG card design goes. It's great for a laugh, the cards are pretty balanced, they play nicely together, but they lack the feeling of belonging to a set. It feels like a bunch of vanilla cards designed to counter other vanilla cards in the same set. There's no real common thread that runs through the set, except for the obvious fact that it's all TF2 related. The fourth is the real reason this set may never see the light of day though a Deviant Art release. I released one of the better cards as far as aesthetics AND card design goes, and the reception was...well, lukewarm would be a bit too generous of a phrase for me to use. There wasn't a reception. Simply put, no one cared. If that's the response one of the set's best cards gets, it probably won't be worth my while to release the rest.

That being said, if enough people respond to this journal telling me they WOULD like to see more cards, I would be willing to put out a few more. Until then, there is very little chance of me releasing anything new for a while. I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours as always,
